7 Ann Arbor Businesses Make “MI 50 Companies to Watch” List

Michigan Celebrates Small Businesses is a band of organizations that promote entrepreneurship and business growth in the state of Michigan. Each year these groups gather to conduct the Annual MCSB Awards Program, honoring outstanding Michigan small businesses. Several innovative Ann Arbor companies were honored this year on the “MI 50 Companies to Watch” list and in additional award categories.

Companies to Watch

These 7 Ann Arbor businesses were honored on the “MI 50 Companies to Watch” list among distinct companies chosen throughout the state:

HistoSonics, Inc. develops innovative technologies for non-invasive surgery, to improve patient experience and lower healthcare costs.

InfoReady Corporation streamlines software applications to improve Human Resources processes for acquiring talent, and organizing company-wide information.

Oxford Companies offers full Real-Estate services including leasing, property management, construction services, and investment opportunities.

Rubicon Genomics develops a variety of healthcare technologies to provide more efficient and safer medicine. Specialties include enzymology, ample processing, and nucleic acid chemistry.

Mighty Good Coffee Roasting Company provides freshly roasted coffee, coffee beans stocked in local stores, and delivery options.

New Eagle designs engineering software and control systems for a variety of industries including construction, military, aerospace, mining, power, and rail.

NewFoundry creates brand visions, executes designs, and develops applications to promote products and services.

Additional Award Winners

Civionics, LLC improves manufacturing technologies to minimize loss and provide solutions to customers individual needs. Honored with the Innovation Award.

Steve Feinman, Ann-Arbor based Michigan SCORE District Director, received the award for SCORE Counselor of the Year.
