Pond5, an online marketplace for creative media, now provides free access to over 80,000 images, videos, and audio files via the Public Domain Project.

Their vast library contains a wide range of media from historical photos and audio clips to current events and modern photography. Some original film clips previously inaccessible to the public have been digitized for the first time and made available online.

The Public Domain Project aims to help media companies, creative agencies, filmmakers, and students find easily accessible copyright-free media. Marketers can certainly benefit from this tremendous resource.

All files are meticulously categorized and tagged appropriately, making search quick and efficient. All content is free to download and use for any editorial work, but be aware that publicity and privacy rights and trademark elements do apply when using content for commercial purposes.
