Cielo MedSolutions is a healthcare software and information technology company striving to improve the quality of patient care. In order to keep up with the ever improving technology, and to enhance the service and efficiency of patient care, Cielo MedSolutions provides clinical quality management software and IT services. Their software was developed by top physicians at the University of Michigan Health System Department of Family Medicine (UMHS). Cielo MedSolutions was started in 2005, as a small start up company.

Situation Overview

In 2007, Cielo MedSolutions contacted Clarity Quest in need of outsource marketing assistance. Clarity Quest helped Cielo MedSolutions get off the ground with their marketing initiatives. Clarity Quest performed a complete website redesign, which enabled smoother navigation of site content. We also made Cielo MedSolutions’ website more accessible on search engines, with pages optimized for natural search rankings. In addition, Clarity Quest created marketing collateral and messaging which supported sales and business development efforts

Results

• Cielo MedSolutions was acquired in February 2011 by the Advisory Board Company of Washington, DC.
• Cielo now has a customer presence in over 11 states.
