By November 22, 2015No Comments

Does your website accurately represent your business?  Test your web page to find out which elements are registering with viewers and which elements are ineffective. Clue is a free tool that creates short memory tests from screenshots of web pages to determine viewers’ first impressions of the site.

Using Clue takes 5 easy steps:

  1. Simply enter the URL of the website you want to analyze
  2. Clue takes a snapshot and creates a short 5 1/2 second test
  3. The test asks viewers to identify the top 5 factors they recall
  4. Distribute this test through email, social media, or your blog
  5. Clue reveals the most recalled words, phrases, and graphics

Clue provides a variety of benefits:

You can use this tool to explore how your site compares to a competitor’s site by testing both websites. By identifying what the most impactful elements of your website are, you can get ideas for redesign and improvements. This tool is also great for testing your graphic designs, photos, and artwork.
