Create, Send & Track Proposals in Record Time

By November 10, 2016No Comments

ProposalsFor years our agency used QuoteRoller to manage our proposal process. While it had its quirks, the ability to save service descriptions, fees and templates made it far more efficient than using Word or Google Docs.

Earlier this year, we found out from a tech support person (not the company management) that QuoteRoller was going into end-of-life status and that we would have to upgrade to PandaDoc to integrate with third-party systems. The kicker: there was no way to automate the transfer of years of information. Seriously?

We started to look for alternatives and were excited to find Proposify. The user interface and proposal tracking features are far more advanced than its competitors. There is even a feature that sends an automatic reminder if the recipient doesn’t open a proposal within a specified number of days. The Halifax-based company plans a new release with an even more advanced user interface in Q1 2017.

If you have a large sales team, the analytics are great for sharing with an executive suite on deal progress and closes. The integration with our CRM, HighRise, works well, although it does involve a manual step to add new client contact information.

Both the president and lead developer at Proposify proactively set up calls with us to make sure we are happy and take any product improvement suggestions. Most features we want to enhance are already planned for the 2017 update. In addition to proactive leadership, the support team is either available for online chat (about 50% of the time) or emails us back within a couple of hours for non-urgent issues.

A Worthwhile Investment

While we had to transfer all our information out of QuoteRoller and into Proposify manually, the time was worth it because it gave us a chance to clean up our records and we are now with a company that won’t leave high and dry after years of being a loyal customer.

When an unplanned downtime occurred recently, the president and tech support team were in constant communications with us. They are going a long way to building our trust.

We now have a solid relationship with this company, and these trusted connections are the ones that stand the test of time in business.
