Book Announcement: Buddha in a Business Suit

About 4 months ago, I started really getting into Baptiste Power Yoga.  I feel more fit, lost a few pounds and most importantly have a more calm approach to running this agency and dealing with challenging projects.  That’s why I was really excited to see my friend and colleague Marc Fine recently published Buddha in a Business Suit: The Art of Heartfelt Management. It’s an e-book that’s a steal at $0.99.

Before I started Clarity Quest, Marc and I worked for a startup that was really stressful in every aspect.  There was a severe lack of respect and a culture that embraced deception, power grabbing and arguing.  Needless to say, the employee turnover was massive. In the 11 years since starting this agency, I’ve tried do a 180 from those stressful days and lead this agency with a heartfelt and fair mentality.

I’m so glad Marc took on the challenge of applying Buddhist principles to business.  Very often in business we need to quench initial emotional reactions, take a deep breadth and just deal with “what is”.  I’ve found in these moments, creativity flourishes and seemingly insurmountable problems can be solved.
