Relievant Medsystems developed a minimally-invasive procedure that targets the basivertebral nerve for the relief of chronic vertebrogenic low back pain, which affects millions of people. Based on a recommendation from a high-growth, publicly-traded medical device client, Relievant turned to us to get the Intracept® Procedure in front of spine surgeons and surgical interventionalists in the United States.

Selecting the optimal digital channels to reach surgeons
After research into their target personas and consultation with their leadership, we determined the delivery of clinical trial and efficacy information via email, LinkedIn direct sponsored content, and organic social media posts would have the highest engagement rates and ROI.
Getting busy clinicians to visit Relievant’s website
Through a combination of email, organic social media, and paid digital campaigns, we were able to increase visitor sessions to Relievant.com by 80%. We were able to increase visitors to their site from LinkedIn by 75%.
The strong digital presence we built for Relievant was especially important when in-person events were nixed due to the pandemic. When elective surgeries were canceled due to COVID-19, the company doubled-down on its digital content, increasing its email campaigns, social message cadence, and webinar content to meet physician targets wherever they were in this unique time.
As a result, over 400 clinicians engaged with the company to attend webinars sponsored by Relievant.
Since onboarding in 2019, we have captured over 1,300 verified surgeon and surgical interventionalists leads.
