Christine Slocumb, President
Chris has over 20 years of marketing, business development, and product management experience in Fortune 50 and startup firms. As the founder of Clarity Quest Marketing, she has grown revenues for healthcare and technology firms using innovative marketing strategies and tactics. She has vast experience leading in-house marketing and agency client services teams, developing processes, managing marketing operations, and owning P&L responsibilities. She believes marketing must be accountable for producing tangible results and positive ROI. She is an innovative problem-solver with strong acuity for marketing financial analysis, revenue forecasting, resourcing and fearless marketing.
Prior to starting Clarity Quest, Christine led marketing and product marketing organizations at several technology startups and was semiconductor device engineer at Motorola. Her marketing experience spans multiple industries including medical devices, healthcare IT, software, wireless infrastructure, displays and semiconductor technology.
Christine presently holds 8 U.S. patents and was named a Michigan Leader & Innovator by Lawrence Technological University. She holds a MBA from Western International University and MS in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University.
Casey Frushour, Senior Creative Director
Casey Frushour graduated from the University of Michigan in 2001 with a BFA in graphic design. Over the years, Casey has used his artistic design and web development talents to help numerous technology companies in Michigan grow and prosper. Casey is an expert at online marketing and print creative design. Before Clarity Quest, Casey was a Senior Graphic Designer and Webmaster for Assay Designs (now Enzo Life Sciences) – a Michigan biotechnology company. Casey leads the Ann Arbor, Michigan office for Clarity Quest.
Brian Shilling, Branding & Digital Marketing Director
Brian is a skilled project manager leading diverse teams of marketers and designers. He is experienced in strategic marketing, content creation, and crafting comprehensive messaging and positioning platforms for our healthcare and tech clients.
Brian also leads our team in search engine marketing, social media and pay-per-click advertising. He currently holds an AdWords Individual Qualification with specialization in Search Advertising from the Google AdWords Certification Program and is a Bing Ads Accredited Professional, which recognizes his extensive knowledge of the Google and Bing advertising platforms. Brian earned a BA in communication studies from the University of Michigan and works out of our Ann Arbor office.
Marla Sokolowski, Senior Marketing Project Manager
Marla is an experienced marketing, communications, and project management professional with proven ability to create strategic marketing plans to increase engagements and leads. Her diverse experience includes running marketing programs for healthcare, technology and automotive companies. Marla leads our marketing automation team to craft email marketing campaigns, develop nurture campaigns and integrate CRMs for sales and marketing alignment. She also manages our LinkedIn social advertising program and Proposify to streamline the sales process for our clients. Marla also serves as an effective project manager to manage multiple internal and external teams harmoniously. Before Clarity Quest, Marla held positions at Online Tech, Switchback CMS, and Parker Hannifin Corp. Marla has a BA in Economics and Chinese from The Ohio State University and works in our Ann Arbor office.
Cori Omundson, Senior Brand & Marketing Strategist
Cori is a results-driven brand and marketing specialist with 15+ years experience working with B2B companies from start-up businesses to multi-billion dollar corporations. She is recognized for successfully defining and delivering marketing strategies that communicate business initiatives and grow client revenues. Cori confidently leads cross-functional teams by providing clear strategic vision and direction for creative execution utilizing careful research, planning and critical thinking skills. She excels in fast-paced environments managing multiple projects, providing structure, and instilling metric measurements to ensure optimized marketing spend. Cori heads up our Seattle office.
Ava Haekler, Marketing Consultant
Ava Haekler values understanding her audience to get positive results through marketing and PR strategies. For Clarity Quest, Ava executes content, social media, accounts-based marketing, online marketing and PR campaigns. Before Clarity Quest, Ava worked at Comcast as a PR and marketing coordinator on a new healthcare and technology venture. Her strengths include social media, event planning, marketing communications, branding, and public relations. She earned a BA in Communication with a concentration in Corporate and Public Relations from Drexel University in 2017. Ava works out of Philadelphia.
Caroline Hirsh, Marketing Consultant
Caroline Hirsh is passionate about using strategic marketing to tell a story. For Clarity Quest, Caroline creates strategic marketing plans, brand messaging and creative content. Before Clarity Quest, Caroline worked as an analyst at Upstream Partners, LLC where she worked with a variety of medical device technology companies. Caroline’s strengths include marketing communications, social media, branding, content creation, problem solving, and creative and strategic thinking. Caroline earned a BA in Art History from Tulane University in 2016, and a Masters in Management with a concentration on strategic marketing and analytics from the Tulane University’s AB Freeman School of Business in 2017.
Jim Drake, Sr. Online Marketing Consultant
Jim has a rich track record of creating corporate websites, online commerce solutions and custom online applications that are built on real business goals and smart marketing savvy. Jim was a founding partner of PromoLab Web Development in 1997 and has since helped bring to life hundreds of corporate websites and online initiatives; from giants such as Verizon Wireless, Food Services of America and Microsoft to a myriad of startup ventures, small to midsize companies and even world-class wineries like Quilceda Creek Vintners.
With almost 20 years of marketing, business development and management experience, Jim’s strengths lie in incorporating sound business rules and marketing strategies into the implementation of online solutions that are clean, professional and effective. Jim works out of our Seattle office.
