In hospitals, patient safety and reducing medical errors is a top priority. In 2004, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) released the Surveys on Patient Safety Culture™ (SOPS™) Hospital Survey enabling clinicians and staff to assess patient safety culture in their hospitals. Since introduction, hundreds of hospitals worldwide have implemented the survey.

In October 2019, AHRQ released a new version, the SOPS Hospital Survey 2.0. To assist health systems in navigating the change, our healthcare software client, Beterra, just release a guide comparing SOPS 2.0 to the old SOPS 1.0 along with a new version of its SafeCulture platform.

SafeCulture provides comprehensive patient safety culture improvement surveys, analytics, and support. We were thrilled to help them with new messaging and website updates to address the launch.

Congratulations to Beterra for staying at the forefront of improving the lives of healthcare consumers!
