Google Algorithm Tweak Affects ~12% of Searches

Google announced yesterday that it has made a significant update to its search ranking algorithm in an effort to push low quality content sites, such as those on eHow and Answerbag, down in the rankings. Google made the tweak in response to user complaints about the poor quality of content farm pages.
