Top 5 Uses for a Visual Online Dictionary

By November 17, 2008May 24th, 2019No Comments

This weekend I came across Visuwords – a visual online dictionary/thesaurus. It’s a powerful visualization tool because it lets you see the relationship between words in a visual fashion. Simply type in a keyword in the search bar or hit the “random” button and the tool will pick a word.

Here are some ways to use it:
1) Use Visuwords as a brainstorming tool during product naming sessions. It gets you thinking in far less literal sense that a pure thesaurus.
2) Refer to Visuwords when trying to come up with an available domain name.
3) Check out Visuwords when you have writer’s block and need a descriptive blog post or whitepaper title.
4) Represent ideas on your website in this “neural net” fashion.
5) Use for keyword research to come up with initial keyword lists.
