The CQ team kicked off the project with an online messaging workshop with Arboretum Ventures to define their why.

It was immediately apparent that emphasizing Arboretum Ventures’ Midwest roots and its commitment to investing in under-ventured geographies, demographics, and sectors was a core value to their culture.

The story portrayed through their new messaging had to balance and communicate three tenets:

  • Prove that ‘we can do it here’ with integrity and trust.
  • Honor the Midwest ethos by communicating in a confident, approachable, and down-to-earth voice.
  • Elevate the message with outstanding creativity.

The results

With these core tenets in mind, our branding and website design experts delivered a refreshed logo, tagline, messaging framework, and a new search-friendly website that reflected their new brand look and feel.
