Our Publicity Process for Technology & Healthcare Companies

Getting your company or product featured in print, TV and radio takes more than just issuing a press release. Our 6-step process ensures you your technology or healthcare company gets the best coverage for your PR dollar.

RESEARCH – To familiarize ourselves with your company, we will review your website and provided collateral. We will ask you to complete a questionnaire clarifying your messaging and value propositions. We will also conduct a taped 30-60 minute interview with your designated spokesperson to be used by our team in crafting your article and pitches. As the final step in the research phase, we will compile media list contacts from our databases.

FEATURE ARTICLE– Using the research in step 1, we will craft a feature-style article/press release which is different than press releases for wire distribution. This article contains everything an editor, producer or writer needs to carry out an interview with you or write an article. Once you review and approve the article, we can begin media pitches in step 5.

MEDIA KIT – We will create a media kit consisting of a corporate backgrounder and FAQ sheet. We will provide detailed recommendations on how to display this information on your website or we can directly upload the information on your website.

PRESS RELEASE DISTRIBUTION – We will edit, refine and distribute your launch press releases over Marketwire’s national circuit (www.marketwire.com). We will ensure the press release also supports your online marketing goals with the inclusion of anchor text key phrases and distribution to social media outlets.

MEDIA PITCHES – Our team will e-mail pitch national business publications (e.g. Business Week, Fortune, Popular Science) and trade media publications (e.g. Healthcare Management Technology, Network Computing, CIO, Healthcare Informatics). We will also e-pitch the top 300 newspapers as well as community-based newspapers. We can also secure interviews on radio and TV shows.

COORDINATION – We will arrange interviews with your spokesperson and coordinate media requests for information with your internal team. We will also provide clip reports showing print media pickup.
